Twist in a Tale


All of us have grown listening fairy tales and stories from our parents. We always make an image in our mind depending upon the content and plot of the story.This event however inversely gives you a series of images and tests in you the power of perception, thinking and relating information creatively .

  • All the participants have to be present 10 minutes before the competition commences.
  • The Participants will be a given set of pictures in a random order.
  • They are free to create their own plot n story by inter-relating the given pictures in any order they wish to, in not more than 250 words.
  • Every particular will be given exactly 1 hour to frame their story.
  • The tale should have the following ----------------------

  • Introduction
    Initiating actioin : the point of a story that starts the rising action.
    Rising action: events leading to a twist
    TWIST: At least one twists which may leave the reader in a state of awe.
    Climax: The most intense poing or turning point of the story.
    Falling action: A point where a story begins to conclude.
    A satisfying ending to the story.
  • Every image needs to be clearly depicted as a particular scene in the story carefully blending in every detail.
  • No need to exaggerate everything in your tale.
  • The story should be realistic, artistic and most importantly humorous.
